It is our aim to comply completely with the Internet and Distance Trading Regulations and in addition to these minimum standards will endeavour to ensure your complete satisfaction, we have many satisfied customers and hope that you will become one of them.


DELIVERY - IMPORTANT UPDATE

Due to ambiguity in ALL courier's terms and conditions, we advise ALL our customers to physically check the contents of your package before signing the Courier's delivery note, This is for YOUR protection, YOU paid for it and it is YOUR property so do not be intimidated by the courier driver, once you have signed for it the courier is deemed to have delivered it in good condition, therefore in law, it was broken AFTER you signed for it.

If it is not possible to comply with the above, we have LIMITED recourse if you follow this procedure:

  • On the driver's paperwork, cross out where it reads 'Received in Good Condition'
  • Sign for as received in 'Damaged' condition
  • DO NOT simply write 'Unchecked' - this is worthless

Unless these conditions are strictly adhered to we will be unable to make a claim against the couriers and therefore unable to refund or replace your goods.


PROTECTION:  For your protection, all items will be sent via insured courier unless stated otherwise, glass items are now transported via a specialist fragile goods shipping company, optional and additional insurance is available from us, at additional cost, upon request.


DELIVERY: SCHEDULE Our aim is to despatch items as soon as possible, occasionally this is not possible, for example, a: when the item is not in stock at our warehouse and has to come from the manufacturer or other supplier outside the UK, b: where the item has to be modified for a particular application or c: other unusual events outside our control. Our standard delivery schedule means that your item should be despatched 2-3 working days after the working day that your order is received, this is usually sent via next day courier, however there are occasions as, stated above, when this is not possible, therefore we must ask you to please allow 7-10 days for your item to arrive. If we are unable to get the item(s) to you within 10 days you will be given the option (on request) of cancelling your order and receiving a full refund or waiting for an agreed delivery date. We despatch items on Monday - Thursday only, additional arrangements can be made but may include additional costs (eg: Saturday delivery etc)

DELIVERY: RECEIPT All packages must be examined thoroughly on delivery and signed for by the purchaser or their designated agent, damaged items may be accepted and signed for as damaged or refused and returned to us via the courier. Damages or shortages must be reported to us as soon as possible and, in any case within 24 hours of the time entered on the couriers delivery note, no claims will be entered into unless these conditions are strictly adhered to.

DELIVERY ADDRESS: All quoted delivery charges are for MAINLAND UK ONLY, for offshore addresses please contact us for a quote. Deliveries of items valued at £50 or over (inc Vat) will be sent to your CONFIRMED credit/debit card registered address only, exceptions to this will be considered on an individual basis and then on application only if received in writing or from your registered email address. (Proof/I.D may be required). If paying by Credit or Debit Card through our own terminal, our system will check your registered postcode and house/flat number as registered with your card issuer (this is the address that your statements are sent to) so please ensure that this is correct - we are unable to despatch items without this information being confirmed.

RETURNS: If the item you purchased is faulty, or significantly not as described in the listing, please contact us for return instructions before sending to ensure swift attention. In this instance we will refund or replace the item and all postage. If you change your mind or simply no longer require the item, please also contact us for instructions as above. In this instance we will refund the cost of the item only (not postage). Returned items must be received back in the original packaging and of re-saleable quality. Items will not be refunded if they are received back, without authorisation, damaged due to bad packing by the customer or otherwise unsaleable. We reserve the right to charge a 10% restocking/handling charge (subject to a £2.00 minimum) at our discretion in certain circumstances.

WARRANTY: Warranties and/or Guarantees are that of the manufactures and must be directed to them except where stated to the contrary.

TRADE PRICES: Vansport attempts to sell everything at Trade prices and is a 'Trade' supplier, by purchasing from us you are declaring that you are a trade customer and agree to abide by these terms.

PICTURES: All listing pictures are for representation and illustration only and may not be of the actual item listed, wherever possible we will show the actual item or a very similar item. If you require a picture of the actual item, please email and we will send one to you. All images are copyright and remain the property of Vansport, no image may be copied or reproduced without express written permission

Collection and use of your personal information

When you place an order with us your details are stored in our secure database in order that we may be able to identify you should we wish to contact you. We do NOT disclose any of your personal details to third parties.

If you choose to purchase online using Paypal, Google Checkout etc, all money transactions are handled by these companies and no credit or debit card information is captured by us. If you pay us direct via our secure payment gateway, you card details are deleted and destroyed immediately after processing, Vansport complies fully with the Data Protection Act for your safety and security.

This website collects limited information about your computer hardware and software. This information may include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used by us for the operation of the website, to maintain the quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the website.

We may on occasion send out emails to our mailing list containing information we believe to be of interest. If you do not wish to receive these emails please let us know and you will be immediately removed from our mailing list. We do not condone or produce unsolicited email.

Any links from our website to third party websites are not covered by this statement, however we make every effort to only associate ourselves with other ethical, professional organisations.
