At Vansport, we offer modern flush fitting bonded conversion windows for most current vans, these are available as a mail order diy ‘kit’ or fitted by our fully qualified technicians.

Most modern vans are a pleasure to drive and often used instead of a family car, a far cry from the first Transit that we converted in 1986.

In 1991 our MD converted his first van using ‘bonded’ windows, a brand new Volkswagen Transporter T4 and quickly word spread, in the late 90’s leaving his job as manager for national company Silver Shield Windscreens, he set up his own business which continued to grow and in December 2004 became Vansport Limited.

Today Vansport’s business is still mainly van windows although today, along with our partners, we design, manufacture and import our own glass specifically for van conversions as opposed to using factory glass which is usually designed for a completely different vehicle. As well as our thriving retail business we now supply many trade customers and vehicle conversion companies.

All our senior technicians are fully NVQ qualified to level 2 or 3 issued by the Glass & Glazing Federation and have at least 20 years each in the installation of bonded windows, we have not simply progressed from fitting the traditional rubber fit windows as they became more popular…… we have always specialised in bonded glass and pride ourselves in knowing all there is to know about this type of installation

All our windows are slightly tinted to match most manufacturer’s glass and most are now available in privacy glass, which is 80% tinted glass and is ideal for protecting your occupants and possessions from harmful UV rays and prying eyes, as well as giving your vehicle that ‘up-market’ look.

Our fitting service is available 7 days per week in Penzance (please note that there may be additional charges for Sunday/Bank Holiday fitting), Cornwall, we are literally 300 yards from the sea and Mounts Bay near the famous St Michaels Mount, and Marazion beach as well as a few miles from Land’s End, the surfing beach at Sennen Cove, the magical open air Minack Theatre, quaint St Ives with it’s Tate Gallery and an endless supply of beautiful walks and beaches, if you plan on staying a while why not visit the unforgettable Isles of Scilly, we can usually offer discounts on flights or sailings to our customers.
